To day is the last day for a fantastic daytime joke Meredith Vieira. It was unclear in the beginning if she would be able to fill Katie Couric's shoes after coming off the squawk - fest that is The View. To our delight she succeeded with flying colors. I could have not imagined a better co-host to join the Today family.Good luck Meredith on whatever you decide to do in the future. I am sure there will be more great things to come. Ann Curry , Meredith's co- host on today will step up as lead anchor. This I believe to be a natural choice. I am sure Ann will do great. Got to love those daytime jokes!
